Purpose?

So what is the real purpose of a web log? To defuse news across the vastness of the internet as fast we can type? To spew out as many opinionated statements as possible to as many people as possible in one sitting? To give everyone who can access a computer equal opportunity to act as retarded as the "drive-by media"? No idea... My purpose: to document and hopefully cure my brainstorming/project ADHD. With more random project ideas than money in the bank (not hard at the moment... and my metaphors will get better...), this seems a very practical way to develop a new habit while documenting important facts that are surely the key to my fame and fortune. Not to mention, this will be a great way to get back some writing skill that has drained away before starting a larger writing project... ;)
